Jonas goes golfing

One beautiful Manitoba evening, we took Jonas out for his first ever round of golf! Despite the "ho-hum" expression on his face, he loved the feel of the wheel underneath his fingers. He was loathe to leave the cart!
He's still a little shaky at the pole, but by next year I'm sure he'll not be content to stand - he'll want to putt himself!

He loved standing up on the seat & feel a sense of independance.

Breaky @ Minnewasta

Larry & I spend our Saturday mornings having breakfast at the golf course. This particular sunny Manitoba morning, we are happy to share it with Jody and Jonas.




Jonas is obviously enjoying the morning!

Chelsea comes to visit

Jody's good friend, Chelsea, drove out from Saskatoon for the August long weekend to visit Jody & Jonas. It was great to see them enjoying their time together.
Chelsea introduced Jonas to "Mr. Skeeter", the puppet she uses to in her public health nursing to make kids feel comfortable.
Jonas was quite enthralled with "Mr. Skeeter"!
Unfortunately, the morning Chelsea left for home, Jody had the flu. So, here it's just Jonas saying goodbye to her. He's sad to see her go!

Bath time

Dry run! We have no bathtub in the house (other than the hot tub) and so we bought this $9.99 pool so Jonas could take his bath! He seemed fine with this arrangement!




He really did enjoy his bath, despite the look on his face!

It was great to have Jay & Andrea join us at the cottage, along with Jody and Jonas.

The timing worked out well - they were able to attend a friend's wedding on the weekend. You don't see Jay in a suit that often!

One thing he definitely did NOT like was his life jacket! We had a hard time finding one that didn't look like a straight jacket.
