Larry & I were awake early one morning about a week & a half ago & couldn't sleep. So, we decided to go have breakfast at the golf course. As you can tell by the shadows, it's almost precisely 7:00am, the perfect time of day to relax, have coffee and enjoy the beautiful morning air. My Iraqi friend tells me her newest grandson's name is Nassim - that means "the morning air". So they will say "Nassim" to each other if it's a beautiful morning! We hope to enjoy many more "nassims" this summer.

Our grandsons in France
Elliot is rapidly becoming more confident at cruising. It sure looks like he's having fun!
Jonas told me weeks ago that he was going to have croissants for breakfast in France. I guess this must be lunch - that's one BIG BAGUETTE!
They were situated not far from a lake & by the looks of things, the beach is a hit.
Jonas is beginning to enjoy the water. Getting ready to come to the cottage in just 4 weeks time.

Nathan & Meghan's wedding
The beautiful ceremony took place at a small church in Niverville.
After the ceremony it was off to the Millenium Centre in Winnipeg. The Millenium Centre is a heritage building that was originally constructed in 1911. It housed the Imperial Bank of Commerce until 1969. It was designated a heritage building in 1999. It is built in the beaux-arts classical style of architecture & is still considered one of the most magnificent bank buildings in North America. After that bit of history, you can see why Nathan & Meghan choose it for their reception. It was a a truly beautiful location......as befitting a beautiful bride & groom!
Other people attending the wedding
Erik & Amber with the newest member of the Eidse family, Norah Marie. It looks like they are the parents, but they're not...
... Graham & Kristy were just getting a little break!
Jordan & Jillian, Nathan's cousins, all the way from West Lafayette, Indiana.
