Enjoying dinner at the Matchbox Pizza - overlooking Palm Canyon Drive below. This was a beautiful calm, warm evening - the kind I look forward to throughout the year.
One morning as we were biking to the Rock Garden Bakery, Larry developed a very flat tire on his bike. We walked it to Palm Springs Cyclery to pump some air into it. Suddenly, to my amazement, instead of getting air for the tire, we were trading in his bike for a new one! Not entirely on a whim, as we had been discussing the fact that his current bike was rather small for him and the position of the handlebars was really putting pressure on his shoulders. So, here is the new bike!
The seat that's actually comfortable, the high-positioned handlebars and the smooth 3 gears (that shift without having to turn the pedals) make this a much better fit for Larry. Now he thinks I should get one to match! Maybe next winter.....
