It's now almost 3 weeks ago that we went to visit Scott & Kim in Oregon. Their wood-burning fireplace provides a cozy, warm and inviting backdrop to their home. We had a great time with them - visiting, playing scrabble, going out for dinner, a trip to the coast to Newport Beach, etc.
It was nice to just hang out & visit. We don't get to do that very often. Since they weren't home for Christmas, we thought it would be nice to go and help them choose their Christmas presents with them. 
We even managed to be there for Kim's birthday. We celebrated by going out for dinner to her favorite Mexican restaurant. i Feliz cumpleanos!
