Baby showers are not a common thing in England. Traditionally, when a new baby arrives, friends will visit the new Mom and baby & bring a gift. This was pretty special for me & Jody. Because Jody is the one Canadian amongst all the other British moms, they decided to keep the Canadian tradition. Also, they waited for me to come from Canada so I could participate in the shower, too!
