This is probably one of the last pictures taken of Grandma D before she ended up in hospital after breaking her hip in a fall. Thankfully, she did not need surgery but will need to be non weight-bearing on that leg for six weeks. She is doing remarkably well and has full intentions to walk again! After being on morphine for a week or two, we were concerned about her mental faculties. Well, once the pain subsided and the drugs were discontinued, she is back to her normal self. A few days ago, she was convinced she would be going home before the 6 weeks were up! Alas, we had to break the news that even though going home is on everybody's tongue on the rehab ward, it doesn't mean it's going to happen imminently!
I thought it was time to give you a little update on my grandkids so I've given each of them the spotlight in the next couple of blogs. They are all unique, special & very loved!

Sorry to hear about Larry's mom. Glad to hear she is doing well. What an amazing lady.
