The remains of the Temple of Saturn built around 501-498BC. It is one of the oldest foundations in the Forum. Although this was a temple built in honor of the god Saturn, it was used as the treasury for the Roman Empire,storing its reserves of gold and silver.
It is one of the largest structures remaining that was built in this early era.

These are the ruins of the podium of the Temple of Caesar.
